As a member of the DHS State of Hope Advisory Board and the Komen Bubbles & Bling Host Committee, Lydia actively contributes to impactful causes. Her involvement with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., further showcases her dedication to volunteerism and leadership in community initiatives.

Lydia’s exceptional work has not gone unnoticed.
She was one of the recipients of the Top Diversity and Inclusion Officer Award at The Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Awards in 2018 and has been a finalist for the Women of Year with Women in Technology (WIT). Her recent inclusion in the 2021 Atlanta Business League’s 100 Women of Influence highlights her impact in the field.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Lydia enjoys a rich cultural heritage with her family’s roots in Puerto Rico. Residing in McDonough with her husband and son, she is an avid cook, reader, writer, and a talented chocolatier, running her own venture, Agosto’s Confections, LLC.
